Calling All Contestants! Whether you are an experienced home cook or just a beginner, send us an ORIGINAL recipe that INCLUDES COFFEE (as an ingredient�either liquid, ground or instant) for a chance to win one of THREE fabulous gift baskets of Delectable Goodies and Gifts (each worth $100.00). Winning recipes must successfully incorporate coffee to enrich and add interest to the final result. Here are some hints to help you along...
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A unique recipe... one that is creative and in tune with today's trends.
HINT: If the recipe uses tried-and-true ingredients with an interesting twist, that's okay! Please, no published cookbook recipes, no back-of-the-box recipes or those old tired ones we all know too well.
A doable recipe... with accessible ingredients and clear instructions.
HINT: Easy preparation is important, but don't use too many prepared, frozen or canned ingredients! And please, no hard-to-find or very expensive ingredients and pages of complex directions.
The use of coffee... in a recipe that will inspire everyone to want to make it!
HINT: Consider that coffee should be an integral part or a singular flavor note, rather than just an ingredient added to a recipe in order to qualify it as an entry. Also, please TEST all recipes before sending them in!
HINT: (Click on “Diva's Best Recipes” and look at two NEW recipes, “Coffee Lover's Barbecued Ribs” and “Cool and Classic Tira Misu,” for a couple of examples.)
Participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final. Recipes will become the property of DecafDivas.net. Contest will end on midnight, September 30, 2008. Winners will be notified by e-mail or mail and the winning recipes will be posted on DecafDivas.net. Yes, you may send in more than one recipe. Good luck!
